Mammootty is all set to enthrall his fans with his upcoming movie Kasaba which would hit the theatres on this Eid. Well, there is something more interesting associated with Kasaba's release.
According to certain reports, the makers of Kasaba are planning to go for a wide release. If that is to be believed, Kasaba would be Mammootty's biggest release ever.
If reports are to be believed, Kasaba is planning to get to close to 150 theatres in Kerala alone. Recently, it was Mammootty's Bhaskar The Rascal, which got a big release similar to this.
Previously, films like Mammootty's Gangster and Keralavarma Pazhassiraja did get above 100 theatres in the opening day. If Kasaba makes it to 150 theatres, it would definitely be the biggest release of Mammootty so far.
Kasaba, is high on expectations, as it is after a gap that Mammootty is appearing in the role of a police officer. He was previously seen in the role of a police officer in the film Daddy Cool. In Kasaba, Mammootty would be seen in the role of an officer named Rajan Zachariah.
The film has been directed by Nithin Renji Panicker, who is the son of renowed writer-actor Renji Pancker. According to the makers of the film, Kasaba would be a perfect entertainer.
The film also has actors like Jagadish, Sampath, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Neha Saxena etc in important roles.
