Kavi Uddheshichathu Gets A Release Date!

Upcoming Malayalam film Kavi Uddheshichathu is all set to hit the theatres. The film, which completed its shoot in the month of August has got a release date.

Reportedly, Kavi Uddheshichathu would hit the theatres on October 7, 2016. The film is being slated as a Pooja release along with films like Mohanlal's Puli Murugan and Mammootty's Thoppil Joppan.

The makers of the film also recently released the first look poster of the film. The poster features all the three main leads of the film Asif Ali, Biju Menon and Narein.

Kavi Uddheshichathu is the directorial debut of Liju Thomas and Thomas. Liju Thomas made a mark in the industry with the short film Ramaniyechiyude Namathil, which won many awards.

According to the reports, Kavi Uddheshichathu is about three characters namely Kavalam Biju, Minnal Simon and Vattaparambil Bosco played by Asif Ali, Biju Menon and Narein respectively. Asif Ali and Biju Menon were previously seen together in the film Anuraga Karikkin Vellam, which went on to become a big success.

The film has an ensemble star cats comprising of actors like Lena, Saiju Kurup, Balu Varghese, Sudhi Koppa, Dinesh Panikker, Bijukuttan etc. Actress Anju Kurien makes her debut as a lead actress with this film.

Kavi Uddheshichathu has been produced by Asif Ali and Sajin Jaffer under the banner of Adam's World Of Imagination.
