WOW! Madhavan To Reprise Dulquer Salmaan's Role In Charlie Remake?

Madhavan, the versatile actor is said to be replacing Dulquer Salmaan, as the title character in the Tamil remake of Charlie. Interestingly, Madhavan had watched Charlie and tweeted about the movie, recently.

The actor was all praises for the movie and the lead actor Dulquer Salmaan. Madhavan stated that Charlie is a fantastic movie and praised Dulquer for his performance and singing skills.

As per the latest updates, Charlie Tamil remake has been offered to the actor and that is the reason why he watched the film. Earlier, it was rumoured that Dhanush would essay the lead role in the remake.

It was also rumoured that Madhavan is planning for a second innings in Malayalam, with the upcoming Dulquer Salmaan movie, directed by Prathap Pothen and written by National award-winner Anjali Menon.

However, the actor has denied the reports, stating that he hasn't signed such a project. However, the sources close to the project says that Madhavan will announce his association with the project, soon.

Meanwhile, Charlie, which is directed by Martin Prakkat, is also expected to be remade in Hindi soon. According to the sources, some leading Bollywood production banners are in talks with the makers.
