Malavika Mohanan Joins Mammootty's The Great Father

Malavika Mohanan, the Pattam Pole fame actress joined the upcoming Mammootty starrer, The Great Father. Reportedly, Malavika is playing a key role in the movie, directed by debutante Haneef Adeni.

Details about her character in the movie are yet to be revealed. It was Mammootty who suggested Malavika to try a hand in films when she went to meet him along with her father, renowned cinematographer Mohanan.

As per the reports, The Great Father a family thriller which depicts the story of the deep bonding between a little girl and her protective father. Popular child artist Baby Sara appears as Mammootty's daughter.

Sneha essays the female lead opposite the megastar in the movie. The Great Father is produced by Prithviraj, Santhosh Sivan, Shaji Nadesan, and Tamil actor Arya, under the banner August Cinema.

Arya, the co-producer essays the antagonist in the movie. The actor is playing an extremely challenging, performance-oriented negative character, which was originally supposed to be played by Prithviraj.

The movie also stars Kammatipaadam fame Manikandan Achari and popular footballer IM Vijayan in the other key roles. The rest of the star cast, technical crew, and further details are expected to be revealed soon.
