REVEALED: Malavika Mohanan's Role In Mammootty's The Great Father

Malavika Mohanan, the young actress has recently joined the upcoming Mammootty starrer The Great Father. Malavika, who is all excited about the opportunity, revealed more about her role in a recent interview.

Interestingly, the actress is playing a young, stylish lady police officer named Meera in the movie, which depicts the story of a father's revenge. Malavika Mohanan says that it a challenging yet really interesting role.

The actress is extremely happy that she has received a chance to act with Mammootty, in such an early stage of her career. Mammootty was the first person who suggested Malavika to try a hand at acting.

The Great Father, which is written and directed by newcomer Haneef Adeni, is one of the most anticipated projects of the year. The movie is produced by Prithviraj, Santhosh Sivan, Shaji Nadesan, and Arya, for August Cinema.

Arya, the co-producer essays the antagonist in the movie, which will have popular actress Sneha in the female lead. Baby Sara, the Annmaria Kalippilanu fame child artist, appears as Mammootty and Sneha's daughter.

The movie will also have young actress Mia George, Kammatipaadam fame Manikandan Achari and popular footballer IM Vijayan in the other key roles. The Great Father will hit the screens for Christmas 2016.
