Mollywood hasn't had the chance to bring up a list like the 100 Crore club in Bollywood, Kollywood and Tollywood as the market of Malayalam films is comparatively lesser.

But, Malayalam films could definitely make up an 'Elite 300 club', which would consist of Malayalam films that ran for more than 300 days at theatres.

Well, Premam might not have completed 300 days of run at theatres in Kerala, but, it definitely achieved this landmark in Tamil Nadu. Premam, did have a phenomenal run at a theatre in Chennai when it completed 300 days of run at that particular theatre.

Well, films completing 300 days in theatres are a rarity nowadays, with exceptions like Premam and Drishyam which had a phenomenal run at the theatres.

Nowadays, it is even hard to pinpoint movies that completed 100 days of run at theatres. It is not that the quality of the films have come down, but with multiplexes coming into action and wide release coming into foray, we can't expect a film to complete 300 days of run at a theatre.

But, with the number of theatres increasing, the collections have also soared to new heights. Even though, we are yet to cross the 100 Crores mark, Malayalam film industry can proudly say that they have made it to 50 Crores club with films like Premam, Drishyam, Ennu Ninte Moideen etc. entering the club.
