Malayalam Movies To Watch Out This February

January was not an exciting month for the Malayalam movies. Even though some highly anticipated hit the theatres, a very few of them managed to grab the attention.

But, February seems to be a more exciting month, as some of the most awaited movies of the year are lining up for the release. Read more about the top releases of February below:

Action Hero Biju

The highly anticipated Nivin Pauly starrer, which is also the production debut of the actor, was slated to release in January. But the movie was postponed due to technical reasons.

The movie, which is directed by 1983 fame Abrid Shine, will hit the theatres on February 4th, Thursday. Action Hero Biju stars newcomer Anu Emmanuel in the female lead.

Maheshinte Prathikaaram

The comical thriller, which stars Fahadh Faasil in the title role, is all set to be released on February 5th, Friday. The movie is the directorial debut of actor Dileesh Pothan.

Anusree essays the female lead opposite Fahadh in the movie. Maheshinte Prathikaaram is produced by film-maker Aashiq Abu, under the banner OPM Dream Mill Cinemas.

Puthiya Niyamam

The upcoming Mammootty-Nayantara starrer social thriller, which is written and directed by AK Sajan, was actually slated to be released on 24th December 2015.

But the movie has been postponed due to the delay in post-production works. As per the latest updates, Puthiya Niyamam will be released by the second week of February.
