Mammootty
is
all
set
to
team
up
with
Amala
Paul,
for
the
first
time.
Reportedly,
Amala
has
been
roped
in
to
play
the
female
lead
opposite
Mammootty,
in
Johny
Antony's
next.
According
to
the
sources,
the
movie
which
has
been
titled
as
Thoppil
Joppan,
will
have
the
megastar
in
the
title
role
Joppan.
Interestingly,
Joppan
will
be
yet
another
'achaayan'
character
from
Mammootty.
Thoppil
Joppan
is
a
comeback
movie
for
director
Johny
Antony,
who
is
going
through
a
low
phase
in
his
career.
The
movie
is
scripted
by
Nishad
Koya,
who
penned
the
blockbuster
movie
Ordinary.
Johny
has
earlier
directed
Mammootty
in
some
popular
movies,
including
Thuruppugulan
and
Thappana.
The
director's
last
outing,
Bhaiyya
Bhaiyya
had
miserably
failed
to
impress
the
audiences.
Mammootty
is
expected
to
join
Thoppil
Joppan,
after
completing
the
Nithin
Panicker's
Kasaba
and
Lijo
Pellissery's
next.
The
movie
will
be
shot
at
the
various
locations
of
Pala,
Wagamon,
and
Thodupuzha.
Amala
Paul,
on
the
other
hand,
is
planning
for
a
track
change
in
her
career
with
some
different
roles.
She
was
last
seen
in
Malayalam,
in
the
Joshiy
directed
Mohanlal
movie
Lailaa
O
Lailaa.
