Mammootty & Varalaxmi Sarathkumar In Nithin Renji Panicker Movie

Mammootty, the megastar of Mollywood, will share the screen with Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, the popular Tamil actress and daughter of actor Sarathkumar, in Nithin Renji Panicker's directorial debut.

It is the Malayalam movie debut of Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, who has already made a mark in the Tamil movie industry. She was playing the role, which is originally written for Bollywood actress Tabu.

Interestingly, Mammootty is playing a police officer in the movie, which is said to be a comical thriller. The actor is sporting a different look in the movie, with a thick mustache and trimmed hair.

Nithin Panicker, himself, pens the script for the movie, which is produced by Nithin's father, writer-director Renji Panicker and Anto Joseph. The title and the rest of the star cast will be revealed soon.

The aspiring film-maker, who is an MBA graduate, has earlier assisted some popular film-makers of Malayalam movie industry, including his father Renji Panicker and Shaji Kailas.

Renji Panicker, on the other hand, has earlier directed Mammootty in Roudram, which was a police story. The actor-scenarist has also penned some blockbuster Mammootty movies.
