Mammootty
is
one
of
the
rare
actors
who
are
always
ready
to
experiment
with
his
roles.
Kasaba,
the
upcoming
Mammootty
starrer,
will
feature
the
actor
in
yet
another
different
role.
The
movie,
which
is
written
and
directed
by
newbie
Nithin
Renji
Panicker,
will
have
Mammootty
in
the
role
of
a
police
officer.
But
this
time,
he
is
not
essaying
a
cliched
police
character.
Instead,
the
actor
is
playing
a
totally
experimental
role.
Reportedly,
Mammootty
even
went
on
to
bring
some
changes
in
his
body
language,
including
the
walking
style,
for
his
role
in
Kasaba.
His
character,
circle
inspector
Rajan
Zachariah
is
a
police
officer
who
doesn't
believe
in
maintaining
discipline.
Rajan
is
a
fun-loving
officer,
who
has
his
own
ways
of
handling
the
investigations.
The
officer
works
as
the
circle
inspector
of
Palakkad
Kasaba
police
station.
He
visits
a
town
in
Kerala-Karnataka
border
upon
the
request
of
his
senior
officer,
to
solve
a
serious
issue.
Kasaba,
which
stars
Varalaxmi
Sarathkumar
in
the
female
lead,
is
produced
by
Alice
George
under
the
banner
Goodwill
Entertainments.
The
movie
is
expected
to
hit
the
theatres
on
July
7th,
Thursday.
