The
Mammootty
starring
epic
drama
based
on
Karnan,
which
is
directed
by
Madhupal,
is
reportedly
delayed.
The
team
decided
to
postpone
the
movie,
as
it
demands
a
long
shooting
schedule.
According
to
the
sources,
the
team
is
planning
for
100
days
long
schedule
for
the
filming
of
the
movie.
But,
Mammootty
is
currently
not
able
to
allot
the
dates,
as
he
has
already
signed
some
other
films.
The
crew
is
planning
to
start
shooting,
immediately
after
Mammootty
finishes
his
commitments.
The
untitled
movie,
which
is
penned
by
P
Sreekumar,
will
have
top
notch
actors
of
Indian
cinema
in
major
roles.
If
the
reports
are
to
be
believed,
Mammmotty's
Karnan
portrays
the
last
days
and
death
of
the
legendary
character,
and
the
inner
conflicts
he
went
through.

Meanwhile,
Madhupal
will
direct
another
project,
which
is
based
on
the
infamous
Sundariyamma
murder
case,
which
happened
in
2012.
Jayasurya
and
Biju
Menon
will
essay

the
movie.
Earlier,
Madhupal
was
planning
to
direct
a
comedy
entertainer
with
Mohanlal
in
the
lead
role.
But
according
to
the
rumour
mills,
the
project
has
been
shelved,
as
Mohanlal
was
not
impressed
with
the
team.
