Kasaba,
the
Mammootty
starring
police
story
which
released
on
July
7,
has
already
emerged
as
a
blockbuster.
When
it
completes
the
first
month
of
release
Kasaba
is
still
going
strong
at
the
box
office.
From
the
first
30
days
of
its
theatrical
run,
the
Nithin
Renji
Panicker
movie
has
made
a
total
gross
collection
of
14.4
Crores.
It
is
the
collection
solely
made
from
the
Kerala
box
office.
The
release
of
Rajinikanth's
Kabali
has
badly
affected
the
performance
of
Kasaba,
as
it
was
removed
from
several
major
theatres.
But,
the
movie
has
been
brought
back
to
major
theatres
from
last
week.
Kasaba
succeeded
in
breaking
the
record
of
Kali,
by
collecting
2.48
Crores
on
its
release
day.
The
movie
also
broke
the
first-weekend
collection
record
of
Loham,
by
collecting
7.36
Crores
in
just
4
days.
The
movie
entered
the
10
Crore
club
just
within
the
8
days
of
release
by
making
a
gross
collection
of
10.03
Crores
from
the
Kerala
box
office.
On
the
9th
day,
the
collection
was
raised
to
10.44
Crores.
The
outside
Kerala
and
outside
India
box
office
collections
of
Kasaba
are
yet
to
be
calculated.
The
movie,
which
had
a
wide
release
in
GCC
countries
last
week,
has
succeeded
in
impressing
the
Gulf
audiences.
