CONFIRMED: Mammootty's Kasaba For This Eid

Kasaba, the Mammootty starring police story, will hit the theatres this Eid. The movie is written and directed by Nithin Renji Panicker, the son of writer-actor-director Renji Panicker.

If things fall in place, Mollywood will witness a massive theatre clash between Kasaba, and the highly anticipated Mohanlal starrer Puli Murugan, this Eid. However, the reports are yet to be confirmed.

Reportedly, Mammootty's character in the movie, Circle Inspector Rajan Zachariah, is not like the earlier police officer roles played by the mega star. Rajan is an officer who is very cunning and soft-natured.

He is an officer, who knows very well to fit into any type of situation and solve the issues. Rajan is not one of those filmy police officers, who stuns with the strong actions and dialogues.

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, the popular Tamil actress, who is the daughter of actor Sarathkumar, makes her Malayalam movie debut with Kasaba. She is playing the main female lead in the movie.

The movie stars Poonam Bajwa, Neha Saxena, Kalabhavan Navas, Manoj Guinness, etc in the other pivotal roles. Kasaba is produced by Renji Panicker and Anto Joseph under the banner Good Will Entertainments.
