Mammootty's Kasaba Release Postponed

Mammootty starring upcoming action thriller Kasaba is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. Kasaba marks the directorial debut of Nithin Renji Panicker, the son of actor-writer Renji Panicker.

Earlier, it was reported that the team is planning to release the movie for this Eid. But as per the latest updates, the release of Kasaba has been postponed to Onam 2016.

Sources also suggest that the team is planning to change the title of the movie, soon. Director Nithin has earlier stated Kasaba is just a temporary title. The new title is expected to be announced soon.

Kasaba marks the comeback of Mammootty in to police roles, after a gap of 4 years. The megastar's role in the movie, Circle Inspector Rajan Zachariah, is said to be entirely different from his earlier cop roles.

Rajan is an officer who is very cunning and knows very well to fit into any type of situation and solve the issues. He is not one of those filmy police officers, who stuns with the strong actions and dialogues.

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar makes her Malayalam movie debut with Kasaba. Sambath, Neha Saxena, Kalabhavan Navas, Manoj Guiness, etc play the other key roles in the movie.
