Mammootty-Madhupal's Karnan Is Not Postponed!

Madhupal, the director confirmed that his Mammootty starrer Karnan, is very much on board. Earlier, it was reported that the movie has been postponed, due to Mammootty's tight schedule.

The actor-director slammed the reports, the project will start rolling by the beginning of 2017. According to Madhupal, that it is not possible to film such a big project, without any preparations.

The team has already started the pre-production activities of the movie. Madhupal feels that there is no other perfect choice that Mammootty to play the middle-aged Karnan in the movie.

The movie is penned by actor-director P Sreekumar. It is a dream project for Sreekumar, who has been working on the screenplay since the past one decade. The team is yet to finalise the title of the movie.

If the reports are to be believed, Mammmotty's Karnan portrays the last days and death of the legendary character. The movie will have top notch actors of Indian cinema in major roles.

Meanwhile, Madhupal will direct another project, which is based on the infamous Sundariyamma murder case, which happened in 2012. Jayasurya and Biju Menon will essay the lead roles in the movie.
