FINALLY! Mammootty Opens Up About Karnan

Mammootty, the megastar has finally broken his silence over the highly anticipated upcoming movie Karnan. During a recent event, Mammootty opened up about Karnan while answering the questions of the audiences.

According to the actor, it is too early to talk about the project and his character. Mammootty feels that it is the writer and director who should announce the vital details about the project, not him.

The actor stated that he doesn't want to raise the expectations of the audiences, as they might end up as a huge burden for him. However, Mammootty has confirmed that he is very much a part of the project.

The untitled movie is directed by Madhupal and scripted by P Sreekumar. Earlier, it was reported that that the movie has been titled as Dharma Kshethram, but it was later revealed to be false.

Karnan is just a temporary title of the movie, which is reportedly made with a budget of 70 Crores. However, the team members are yet to confirm the reports regarding the budget of the movie.

The project will not have any similarities with the highly anticipated Prithviraj-RS Vimal movie, Karnan. According to director Madhupal, the movie will deal with the last days of Karnan and his inner conflicts.
