WOW! Mammootty-Ranjith Movie Gets An Interesting Title!

The upcoming Ranjith-Mammootty movie has been among one of the most awaited projects of the recent times. Earlier, there were speculations that the film has been titled as Vamban, but the director dismissed them as rumours.

Now, it seems like the makers of the film have fixed a title for the film. Reportedly, the duo's upcoming venture has been titled as Puthan Panam: The New Indian Rupee. The film is expected to go on floors by next week.

If reports are to be believed, the film would be dealing with the issues of black money in India. Earlier, Ranjith himself had directed a film named Indian Rupee, which had Prithviraj in the lead role. The film narrated the story of a young guy, who is hell-bent up on making money and tries various shortcuts to make money.

Ranjith himself had stated that his upcoming venture with Mammootty, would be different from their previous ventures like Kadal Kadannoru Maathukutti, Pranchiyettan And The Saint etc. There are also reports doing the rounds that The New Indian Rupee would be a movie with action elements in it.

The film would also feature actors like Ineya, Renji Panicker, Siddique, Joju George, Hareesh Perumanna in important roles. Renowned cinematographer Om Prakash, would wield the camera for the film.
