Mammootty-Syam Dhar Movie To Go On Floors In January!

Young film-maker Syam Dhar did impress one and all with his debut film 7th Day, which released in the year 2014. The film, which was in the lines of a thriller, did feature Prithviraj in the lead role.

There were reports that the director would team up with Mammootty for his next venture. Now, the director himself has come up with a confirmation regarding the same.

Syam Dhar took to Facebook to reveal further details about the project. The yet-to-be-titled film would go on floors in January 2017. Take a look at the Facebook post of the director..

He has stated that the upcoming venture would be completely different from his debut movie. According to him, the film would be in the lines of a family entertainer with a lot of humour elements in it.

The film will have its script written by Ratheesh Ravi. The upcoming venture will be funded by B Rakesh, who has also produced the Nivin Pauly starrer Sakhavu, directed by Sidhartha Siva.

Meanwhile, Mammootty, at present, is busy with the shoot of his upcoming film Puthanpanam, directed by Ranjith. The actor is expected to join Syam Dhar movie, once he completes the shoot of Puthanpanam.
