Mammootty's The Great Father: First Look Poster Is Out!

The official first look poster of the upcoming Mammootty starrer, The Great Father is out. Expectations are riding high on the project, as the first look poster looks completely fresh and promising.

Popular child artist Baby Sara will essay the role of Mammootty's daughter in The Great Father. The movie is produced by Prithviraj, Santhosh Sivan, Shaji Nadesan, and Arya, for August Cinema.

Reportedly, the movie revolves around the peculiar relationship between a young girl and her father. Sneha will essay the female lead opposite Mammootty in the movie, which is written and directed by debutante Haneef Adeni.

Earlier, it was reported that the project has been titled as My Dad David, but later it was revealed to be false. More details regarding Mammootty, Baby Sara, and Sneha's characters will be revealed soon.

Initially, Nayantara and Baby Anika were considered for the roles played by Sneha and Baby Sara, respectively. But both the actress turned down the offer due to their busy schedules.

Prithviraj, the co-producer is also said to be playing an extended cameo role in the movie. The rest of the star cast, and the further details of the project are expected to be revealed soon.
