Mammootty's The Great Father Gets A Release Date?

The Great Father, the Mammootty starring emotional thriller is one of the most-awaited projects of the year. The movie, which is written and directed by newcomer Haneef Adeni, has reportedly got a release date.

If the reports are to be true, The Great Father will hit the theatres on November 4, Friday. However, the team members are yet to announce the actual release date of the movie, officially.

Mollywood may receive another chance to witness the Mammootty-Mohanlal box office clash, if the movie is released on November 4. It is because Mohanlal's Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol is releasing on the same day.

Mammootty is playing the central character David in The Great Father, which revolves around the deep bonding between a father and his only daughter. Baby Sara appears as Mammootty's daughter in the movie.

The movie is produced by Prithviraj, Santhosh Sivan, Shaji Nadesan, and Arya, under the banner August Cinema. Arya, one of the co-producers of the movie, is playing a pivotal role, which is originally written for Prithviraj, in the movie.

Sneha essays the female lead opposite Mammootty in the movie, which will also have Mia George, Malavika Mohanan, Kammatipaadam fame Manikandan Achari, IM Vijayan, Aryan Menon, etc., in the supporting roles.
