Mammootty Turns College Professor!

Mammootty, the megastar is all set to essay the role of a college professor, in his upcoming movie. Interestingly, Mammootty is playing a college professor after a long gap of 21 years.

The actor last appeared as a professor in the 1995-released romantic drama Mazhayethum Munpe, directed by Kamal. Mammootty's portrayal of Prof. Nandakumar was highly appreciated by both the audiences and critics.

Now, the actor is back with a professor role, for the upcoming untitled movie directed by Ajay Vasudev. The movie, which is said to be a complete entertainer, is scripted by Pulimurugan writer Udayakrishna.

Writer Udayakrishna, who recently confirmed the reports in a recent interview, stated that the movie will make use of both the acting skills and star image of Mammootty. More details are expected to be announced soon.

It is the second movie outing of director Ajay Vasudev, who made his directorial debut with the Mammootty starring action thriller Rajadhi Raja. Ajay is also directing a movie, with Dileep in the lead role.

Mammootty, on the other hand, is currently filming for the upcoming revenge thriller The Great Father, directed by newcomer Haneef Adeni. He will next join the sets of Ranjith's action thriller Vamban.
