Mammootty's White: First Week Box Office Collections

White, the Mammootty starring romantic drama hit the theatres on 29th August, Friday. The movie, which marked the Malayalam debut of Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi, is directed by Uday Ananthan.

When it completed the first week of release, White made a gross collection of just 1.15 Crores. The movie has only garnered a share of 53 Lakhs till now, to the much shock of the industry.

It is undoubtedly a highly disappointing box office figure, for a Mammootty starring project. The trade analysts confirm that White will not be able to make even a share 1 Crores, within its peak period.

Sadly, the movie has not been able to cover an average of more than 10 Lakhs per day, after the 4th day of its release. White had a disastrous opening at the box office, by making an initial collection of 29 Lakhs.

When it completed the first 2 days of release, the total collection was just 56 Lakhs. White is considered as one of the biggest failures in Mammootty's career, in the past 5 years.

His last release Kasaba has made a new record by collecting 2.48 Crores on its releasing day. Acha Dhin is the Mammootty movie, which made the lowest initial collection in the past few years.
