Mammootty's White: Release Date Teaser Is Out!

The release date teaser of White, the Mammootty starring romantic drama is finally out. The Uday Ananthan-directed movie which stars Huma Qureshi in the female lead will hit the theatres on July 29th.

The teaser, which was released through the official site of Eros South, announces the date in a unique way. In the teaser, Mammootty's character reveals the date, through the birth dates of his and Huma's characters.

White was originally slated to release in February 2016. The release of the movie was postponed multiple times, due to the unexpected delay in the post-production activities owing to some technical issues.

It was reported that the crew is highly particular about releasing White during a safe season, as it is a feel-good llove story with very less commercial elements. It is a highly ambitious project for director Uday.

The movie marks the Malayalam movie debut of Huma Qureshi, the popular Bollywood actress for the role. It was the senior actress Khushboo, who suggested Mammootty to consider Huma for the role.

White is jointly scripted by Uday Ananthan, Nandini Valsan, and Praveen Balakrishnan. Amarjit Sing is the director of photography. The movie is produced by the popular banner, Eros International.
