Mani Ratnam's Great Advice To Dulquer Salmaan

2015 was a great year for Dulquer Salmaan, the young charming actor of Malayalam movie industry. Dulquer received the opportunity to work with his most favourite film-maker, Mani Ratnam this year, in his love story Ok Kanmani.

The veteran film-maker, who was highly impressed with Dulquer's acting style and dedication towards the work, gave him a special piece of advice. He advised Dulquer to never change, as he has a very special personality.

During the Ok Kanmani release time, Mani Ratnam had stated that Dulquer Salmaan has his own style of acting and is not influenced by his father Mammootty, who is one of the greatest actors of our country.

He opined that it is very hard for a star kid like Dulquer to stay away from the shade of his father. But at the same time, he follows the disciplined, balanced lifestyle like Mammootty, and is totally different from the youngsters of his age group.

Dulquer was recently approached by Mani Ratnam for another multi-starrer; but the actor turned down the offer due to his busy schedule. Mammootty and Mani Ratnam has worked together in the classic action drama Thalapathi.
