Manju
Warrier
has
only
a
few
friends
in
the
film
industry
and
Kunchacko
Boban
is
one
among
them.
In
a
recent
interview,
Manju
revealed
that
she
has
slapped
Kunchacko
multiple
times.
Interestingly,
the
actress
slapped
her
dear
friend
on
the
sets
of
their
recently
released
movie
Vettah,
upon
the
insistence
of
late
director
Rajesh
Pillai.
Manju
and
Kunchacko
Boban
were
filming
an
intense
scene.
In
the
scene,
Manju's
character
Sreebala
IPS
slaps
Chackochan's
character
Melvin.
Director
Rajesh
Pillai
wanted
the
scene
to
create
a
deep
impact,
so
asked
Manju
to
slap
Kunchacko
Boban
in
real.
Manju
was
initially
reluctant
to
accept
the
director's
instructions,
but
Kunchacko
Boban
convinced
her
to
slap
him.
The
duo
performed
the
same
scene
twice
during
the
rehearsal
session
and
finally
once
for
the
real
take.
But,
Kunchacko
Boban's
face
was
almost
swollen
when
they
completed
the
final
take.
Manju
Warrier,
who
felt
extremely
guilty
over
the
same,
went
on
to
apologize
to
her
friend.
Vettah,
which
also
stars
Indrajith
in
a
key
role,
is
running
successfully
at
the
theatres.
Kunchacko
Boban
has
earlier
worked
with
Manju
Warrier
in
her
comeback
movie
How
Old
Are
You.
