I'm Not Worried About Image: Meena

Meena, the talented actress is all set to make a comeback to Mollywood, with the upcoming Mohanlal movie Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol. In a recent interview, Meena opened up about her character preferences.

The actress who stated that she is not worried about the image revealed that she has no issues in playing the mother roles. At the same time, Meena is not interested in playing insignificant characters.

But she is very particular that her character should have the scope to perform. Meena points out that she had played mother roles even during the peak time of her career, in several movies including Avvai Shanmughi.

Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol, which stars Mohanlal in the lead role, will have Meena in the role of a housewife. Aima Sebastian and Sanoop Santhosh essay Mohanlal and Meena's kids in the movie.

Interestingly, Meena appeared as the mother of Mammootty's character Majid, in the 2014-released movie Balyakalasakhi. The megastar essayed a double role in the movie, as father and son.

The actress had also essayed mother roles, in the 2013-released Mohanlal-Jeethu Joseph movie Drishyam, and the 2007 movie Kadha Parayumbol, which had Mammootty and Sreenivasan in the lead roles.
