She essays the role of Amrutha in this serial directed by Sujith Sunder. She is popularly known as Amrutha because of the wide acceptance the serial, and her rolehave been getting.

Meghna has also tried her luck in films. She appeared in a role in the film named Parankimala which was a remake of the yesteryear classic of the same name.
