Midhun Manuel Thomas All Set To Come With A Sequel To Aadu!

Midhun Manuel Thomas, who became an independent director with the film Aadu, is definitely a happy man as he has been receiving some thunderous responses for his most recent film Ann Maria Kalippilaanu.

His debut film Aadu, wasn't a big success in theatres but later, the film went on to attain a cult following among the viewers. And now, here is an exciting news for all the fans of the movie Aadu.

In a recent interview given to SouthLive, Midhun Manuel Thomas stated that he is working on a sequel to the film Aadu. The one-liner of the story is ready and the director-writer would work on it further.

He also suggested that Aadu 2 would cover a new episode in the life of Shaji Papaan and the film would be an out-and-out masala entertainer. The film has been tentatively titled as Shaji Pappan.

The sequel will also bring back all the main characters from the prequel. Aadu had Jayasurya in the lead role as Shaji Pappan.

Aadu, at the time of its release had received mostly negative reviews, but now it is one of the most talked about movies in social media circuits like Facebook. The film had an ensemble star cast comprising of actors like Jayasurya, Vijay Babu, Sunny Wayne, Vinayakan, Dharmajan Bolghatty, Chemban Vinod Jose, Saiju Kurup etc. in important roles.
