Mohanlal starrer Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol is undoubtedly one of the most awaited movies of this Christmas season. The movie is gearing up to hit the theatres on December 22, 2015.
The makers of the film, recently released the first official teaser of the film, which has opened to a good response. The audio of the movie was launched on December 04, 2016, in a grand function held at Taj Hotel in Kochi.
The ceremony was attended by some of the big names of the industry and was literally a star-studded one. Celebrities like Mohanlal, Anoop Menon, Meena, Joshiy, Priyadarshan, Jibu Jacob, Tini Tom, Aju Varghese etc., were present at the function. Take a look at some of the pictures taken from the event.
Unveiling The Audio CD
Senior directors Joshiy and Priyadarshan were also present at the function. Director Joshiy officially launched the audio of Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol by handing over the CD to film-maker Priyadarshan.
Mohanlal & Meena Hand Over Gifts To Contest Winners
The makers of Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol did organize a contest, which had asked the couples across the state to send out a video describing their love for each other. Mohanlal and Meena handed over the gifts to four selected winners, during the function.
Mohanlal – The Star Of The Show
Actor Mohanlal, was definitely the star of the show. He was seen sporting a classy dhothi and a specially designed shirt. The actor spoke highly about the movie and stated that the movie, which is a family entertainer, is in the form of a satire.
Anoop Menon
Actor Anoop Menon plays an important role in the movie, as one of the friends of Mohanlal. The actor was also present at the function and had a short and sweet message for all present at the function.
Aju Varghese
Aju Varghese, who had played an important role in Jibu Jacob's debut directorial venture Vellimoonga, was one of the special guests of the function. He hoped that the film would be the second blockbuster of Jibu Jacob and stated that he would watching the movie from the theatres.
Kalabhavan Shajon
Actor Kalabhavan Shajon also plays an important role in the movie and spoke a few words. Unlike his previous two movies with Mohanlal, Drishyam and Oppam, in which he played the antagonist role, Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol has him playing one of the friends of Mohanlal.
Apart from the above celebrities, actors like Tini Tom, Neha Saxena also had some words to say about the movie. Sophia Paul, the producer of the movie and Jibu jacob, the director of the movie, also spoke at the function.
Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol has its songs set to tune by veteran music director M Jayachandran. Apart from the audio, the video of two songs of the film were also released.
