Mohanlal & Vimala Raman In Priyadarshan's Oppam

Mohanlal is all set to romance Vimala Raman in the upcoming Priyadarshan movie Oppam. Vimala is making a comeback into Malayalam movie industry, after a long gap of 8 years.

Interestingly, Mohanlal is playing a blind man in the movie, which is said to be an out-and-out crime thriller. The movie revolves around a blind man, who accidentally gets involved in a murder.

Vimala Raman has earlier shared the screen with Mohanlal in College Kumaran. Even though she has acted with almost all the top actors of M'town, she failed to make it big in the industry.

If the rumours are to be true, Oppam will also have Soodhu Kavvum fame Sanchita Shetty in a pivotal role. More details regarding the rest of the star cast and technical crew will be revealed soon.

Earlier, Mohanlal and Priyadarshan were planning a big-budget project, which was meant to be shot in Russia. But the movie was postponed, due to some technical issues.

Oppam is a highly ambitious project for Priyadarshan, who is going through a low phase in his career. Mohanlal-Priyadarshan team's last outing Geethanjali was a huge failure.
