Mohanlal Is Impressed With Alphonse Puthren!

Mohanlal, the magical actor is reportedly highly impressed with the young director-editor Alphonse Puthren. It was Alphonse, who edited the recently released trailer of Mohanlal's upcoming movie Oppam, directed by Priyadarshan.

According to the sources close to the project, the actor is extremely impressed with the skills of the Premam director. Interestingly, Mohanlal has also expressed his wish to work with Alphonse.

If the reports are to be true, the actor has promised that he will allot dates to the director, if he brings an interesting screenplay. However, the Mohanlal fans are extremely excited to know the actor's decision.

Alphonse Puthren, who earned wide appreciations for the Oppam trailer, is reportedly searching for a subject which will suit Mohanlal. The young film-maker is currently busy with the scripting of his upcoming Mammootty project.

In a recent interview, the complete actor has confirmed that he is ready to associate with the young film-makers, who have already made a mark in the industry. But, he is not ready to associate with the freshers.

Oppam, which is an ambitious project for both Mohanlal and Priyadarshan, will hit the theatres in September as an Onam release. The movie is produced by Antony Perumbavoor's Aashirvad Cinemas.
