Mohanlal-Major Ravi Movie Gets A Title!

Major Ravi is all set to join hands with Mohanlal once again, and this time the director is gearing up to make a film, which would be based on the 1971 India-Pakistan war.

Reportedly, Major Ravi and team have zeroed in on the title of the film. The film has been titled as 1971, Beyond Borders.

According to the latest reports, actor Mohanlal would be seen in two different roles in this film. Mohanlal would be seen once again in the role of Major Mahadevan, the character introduced by the director through his debut film Keerthichakra. Mohanlal would also be seen in the role of Major Sahadevan, the father of Major Mahadevan.

The makers of the film are planning to start the shoot of the film by next year. The film would be shot in locations like Rajasthan, Punjab etc. 1971, Beyond borders, would also have Telugu actor Rana Daggubatti in an important role. The actor became a much popular face in Malayalam with the film Baahubali.

Meanwhile, it is after a break that Major Ravi is getting back to fim-making. His previous film was Picket 43, which had Prithviraj in the lead role. The director also acted in a few recent films like Action Hero Biju, Anarkali, Marubhoomiyile Aana etc.
