Mohanlal Not To Work With Alphonse Puthren?

Mohanlal, the magical actor was reportedly planning to join hands with the Premam director Alphonse Puthren. The news was widely accepted by the audiences, who wanted the duo to team up soon.

But as per the latest updates, Mohanlal has decided not to join hands with Alphonse, any time soon. The actor made such a decision for the producer of the project, SL Vimal Kumar.

Vimal Kumar is said to be not in a good terms with Alphonse Puthren's father-in-law, film producer Alwyn Antony. He feels that Alwyn will interfere in the project if Alphonse is the director.

Mohanlal and Vimal's last association Lokpal was a box office disaster. Reportedly, the actor allotted dates to the producer despite his busy schedule as a compensation. He has also allowed him to cast a director of his choice.

The sources confirm that Mohanlal will definitely team up with Alphonse Puthren for a project produced by another production banner. However, it is sure that the project will not materialise anytime soon.

Alphonse Puthren was the editor of the official trailer of the upcoming Mohanlal-Priyadarshan movie, Oppam. The director is currently busy scripting for his next project, which will have Mammootty in the lead role.
