Lucifer,
the
Mohanlal
starrer
which
marks
the
directorial
debut
of
young
actor
Prithviraj,
is
undoubtedly
one
of
the
most
talked
projects
of
recent
times.
Here
are
some
more
interesting
details
about
Lucifer.
Recently,
the
team
members
confirmed
that
the
movie
will
only
start
rolling
in
March
2017,
and
release
for
Onam
next
year.
It
is
because
of
the
other
commitments
of
lead
actor
Mohanlal
and
director
Prithviraj.
Interestingly,
Prithviraj
is
planning
to
take
a
short
break
from
acting
after
completing
his
current
projects,
to
concentrate
on
Lucifer.
But
the
actor
surely
has
no
plans
to
quit
his
acting
career
for
direction.
Writer
Murali
Gopy
states
that
Lucifer
is
not
exactly
the
same
project
which
was
supposed
to
be
directed
by
late.
Rajesh
Pillai.
The
writer
is
reworking
on
the
script,
considering
the
ideas
of
Prithviraj.
But,
the
basic
theme
of
the
movie
and
the
title
will
remain
the
same.
Rajesh
Pillai
has
planned
to
rope
in
Kunchacko
Boban
and
writer
Murali
Gopy,
to
play
the
other
two
pivotal
roles
in
the
movie.
But
the
new
team
is
yet
to
clarify
whether
they
will
proceed
with
the
same
cast,
or
go
for
replacements.
Lucifer
is
produced
by
Antony
Perumbavoor
under
the
banner
Aashirvad
Cinemas.
