As
per
the
sources,
Oppam
revolves
around
a
murder
mystery
and
a
blind
man
who
accidently
gets
involved
in
it.
The
movie
is
produced
by
Antony
Perumbavoor,
under
the
banner
Aashirvad
Cinemas.
Vimala
Raman,
the
popular
actress
makes
a
comeback
into
Mollywood,
as
the
leading
lady
of
the
movie.
Nedumudi
Venu,
Mamukoya,
Kannada
actress
Sanchita
Shetty
etc
play
the
other
pivotal
roles.
If
the
reports
are
to
be
true,
the
Tamil
actor-director
Samuthirakani,
who
has
earlier
shared
the
screen
with
Mohanlal
in
Shikkar,
will
play
the
antagonist
in
Oppam.
But
it
has
not
been
confirmed
yet.
Oppam
is
penned
by
debutante
Govind
and
director
Priyadarshan,
himself.
The
songs
and
background
score
of
the
movie
are
composed
by
five
debutant
music
directors.
Madhu
Vasudevan
pens
the
lyrics.
It
is
a
highly
ambitious
project
for
Priyadarshan,
who
is
going
through
a
low
phase
in
his
career.
Mohanlal-Priyadarshan
team's
last
outing
Geethanjali
was
a
huge
failure.
