Sidharth
Bharathan,
the
young
actor-director
was
expected
to
direct
Mohanlal,
in
his
next
venture.
But
as
per
the
latest
update,
Sidharth's
Mohanlal
project
has
been
shelved.
Instead,
he
is
planning
to
direct
Jayasurya.
Reportedly,
Sidharth
has
already
started
scripting
for
the
project,
which
is
expected
to
start
rolling
by
the
end
of
August.
According
to
the
sources,
Mohanlal
turned
down
Sidharth's
offer,
due
to
his
busy
schedule.
Recently,
Jayasurya
had
posted
a
selfie
with
Sidharth
Bharathan
in
his
timeline,
hinting
a
collaboration
with
the
director.
The
audiences
and
media
are
excited
about
Jayasurya
and
Sidharth's
collaboration.
Reportedly,
Sidharth
Bharathan
is
also
planning
to
direct
another
project,
with
Dileep
in
the
lead
role.
But,
it
will
commence
only
after
the
director
completes
the
Jayasurya
movie.
Sidharth
made
his
directorial
debut
by
remaking
the
classic
movie
Nidra,
directed
by
his
father,
film-maker
Bharathan.
He
made
his
first
commercial
attempt
with
his
second
venture
Chandrettan
Evideya.
The
director
had
met
with
an
accident
a
few
months
back
and
suffered
a
serious
head
injury
and
thigh
fracture.
He
was
advised
to
take
complete
bed
rest
for
three
months,
and
has
completely
recovered
now.
