FINALLY! Mohanlal's Puli Murugan Gets A Release Date

Puli Murugan, the Mohanlal starring action thriller, is the most anticipated movie of the year. The movie, directed by Vykash was initially supposed to hit the theatres on July 7th.

But, the release was postponed due to the unavailability of releasing centres. If the reports are to be true, the team is planning to release Puli Murugan on August 15th Monday, Independence day.

It is quite a surprising move for the audiences, who are familiar with the weekend releases. Usually, the Malayalam movies are released on Fridays, and sometimes on Thursdays and Saturdays.

But, Puli Murugan is reportedly going for a Monday release. However, the team is yet to confirm the reports officially. But some other sources suggest that the movie will be released on the weekend before Independence day.

The movie is supposed to be released in about 3000 screens all over the world. The team decided not to release it on July, as screens are not available due to the release of Rajinikanth's Kabali.

It has also been rumoured that crew made such a decision, as they don't want the movie to have a box office clash with any other major releases. Puli Murugan is produced by Mulakupadam films.
