Puli Murugan, the Mohanlal starring action thriller is all set to hit the theatres for this Navarathri. In a recent interview, director Vysakh revealed an interesting fact about Mohanlal's association with the movie.
Interestingly, the actor even went on reduce his remuneration for the movie. According to Vysakh, Mohanlal astonished the team members with his extreme dedication level, even during the period of illness.
The complete actor was down with fever during the shooting of the climax portions of Puli Murugan. But, he refused to take rest and shot for some of the risky sequences of the film during that time.
Mohanlal patiently took retakes when the technical crew made mistakes. He even went on to take about 8 retakes for the reverse diving shot in the climax portion, despite being completely exhausted.
When director Vysakh apologised him on behalf of the crew members, Mohanlal lightened the situation stating that an actor should be ready to go till any extent for the perfection of his character.
The team is planning to release the Malayalam version of Puli Murugan in October, while the Tamil and Hindi versions will be released by the end of 2016. The movie is produced by Mulakupadam Films.
