Mukham, is undeniably one of the most underrated movies of Mohanlal. The actor, played the role of a police officer named Unnikrishnan, who is investigating a series of murders. Mohanlal was superb in the role of the police officer, giving a calm and composed performance and thus making it one of his best cop roles.

Achuthan Kutty In Kariyilakaattu Pole

It was one of the early cop roles portrayed by Mohanlal, on the screen. This well-written character by P Padmarajan was treated in a realistic manner by Mohanlal. Watch out for the climax sequences in the film, where we get to see the emotional side of a cop.

Chandrasekhar In Grandmaster

Once again, Mohanlal got to play the role of an investigation officer, in this movie. Chandrasekhar, the protagonist of the film, goes through different phases and the actor successfully portrayed even the emotion turmoil faced by the character, in his own unmatchable style.

Varghese Antony I.P.S In Olympian Anthony Adam

This one definitely is the most enjoyable cop role among the lot. Mohanlal's role in Olympian Anthony Adam wasn't well-received back then, at the time of its release. But, over the years, the film and the character played by Mohanlal went on to attain a cult fan following.

Ali Imran In Moonnaam Mura

Well, Mohanlal played the role of an ex-cop in this film, directed by K Madhu. The film, definitely is one of the best thrillers of those times and Mohanlal played the role of Ali Imran excellently.
