GOOD NEWS: Mohanlal-Sidharth Bharathan Movie Is Not Shelved

Mohanlal, the complete actor will soon team up with one of the most talented young film-makers of the industry, Sidharth Bharathan. Latest reports confirm that the Mohanlal-Sidharth project is not shelved.

Earlier, it was reported that the director dropped the Mohanlal project, as the actor is busy with his committed projects. But sources close to Sidharth confirm that the movie is very much on board.

If things fall in place, Sidharth Bharathan's Mohanlal movie will start rolling by mid-2017. Expectations are riding high on the movie, as it marks the first collaboration of the actor-director duo.

Mohanlal has worked with Sidharth's father, the late legendary director Bharathan, in the highly acclaimed movie Thazhvaram. He has shared the screen with the director's mother, KPAC Lalitha in several movies.

Sidharth Bharathan, who made his acting debut with Kamal's Nammal, made his directorial debut with the remake of the classic movie Nidra, directed by his father. The movie was a critical success.

His first commercial movie attempt, the Dileep starrer Chandrettan Evideya, was a huge success. Sidharth is currently scripting for his next project, which will have Jayasurya in the lead role.
