Mohanlal To Team Up With Shafi

Mohanlal, the magical actor of M'town is all set to join hands with Shafi, the hitmaker. Reportedly, Mohanlal and Shafi are teaming up for a comical entertainer, which will start rolling in 2017.

According to the sources, the untitled project will be produced by Milan Jaleel, under the banner Galaxy Films. The movie will be scripted by either director Rafi or Benny P Nayarambalam.

Rafi, who is also the elder brother of Shafi, has earlier teamed up with Mohanlal for Hello and China Town. Shafi is joining hands with the complete actor, for the first time in his career.

Mohanlal is currently extremely busy with a handful of promising projects in his kitty, including Malayalam, Telugu, and Tamil projects. Oppam is expected to be his first Malayalam release of 2016.

But, the actor's first release of the year will be the upcoming Telugu movie Janatha Garage, which will hit the theatres in August. The release of Puli Murugan, the highly anticipated Mohanlal movie, has been postponed to 2017.

Telugu movie Manamantha is another awaited release of the actor in 2016. His other upcoming projects include Jibu Jacob's Pranayopanishath, G Prajith's Benz Vasu, AR Murugadoss's upcoming movie, etc.
