Mohanlal's Vismayam: First Day Kerala Box Office Collections

Vismayam, the Mohanlal starring family drama has been receiving positive reviews from all over. The movie directed by Chandrasekhar Yeleti is simultaneously released in Telugu and Tamil as Manamantha and Namathu, respectively.

When it completed the first day at the Kerala box office, Vismayam has made a gross collection of 68 Lakhs. Interestingly, the movie has collected 3.5 Lakhs initial collection, just from the multiplexes of Ernakulam.

Even though it is not a great achievement for a Mohanlal movie, it is decent box office figure for a dubbed movie, which is originally made in Telugu. The Telugu version, Manamantha is also performing extremely well at the theatres.

It is the first release of Mohanlal, in 2016. Vismayam has been widely accepted by both the audiences and critics. It is undoubtedly one of the few dubbed films which received excellent critical response from Kerala.

Recently, the Calicut unit of Mohanlal Fans Association conducted a small success bash at the sets of the actor's upcoming movie. The movie expected to be released in more number of centres, by next week.

Vismayam stars Gauthami, Urvashi, Viswant Duddumpudi, Raina Rao, Joy Mathew, Nedumudi Venu, P Balachandran, etc. in the key roles. The movie is produced by Varahi Chalana Chithram.
