Most of the Mollywood celebrities, including Mammootty, Mohanlal, Manju Warrier etc, expressed their deep shock and sorrow over Kalpana's sudden death through their Facebook pages.

It is highly shocking that Kalpana's last character Queen Mary from Charlie also dies in a totally unexpected situation. Ironically, her death has huge similarities to that of the last character she played.
