Release Of Guppy Postponed

Guppy, directed by Johnpaul George was earlier expected to hit the theatres on July 29, 2016. But, owing to certain changes in the Censor rules, the film had to postpone its release. Now, the movie would hit the theatres on August 5, 2016.

Apart from Kabali, Malayalam films like Anuraga Karikkin Vellam, Kasaba, Karinkunnam Sixes etc. continue to run in the theatres with decent collections.

Past week also witnessed the release of two Malayalam films, in the form of White starring Mammooty and Kismath starring Shane Nigam and Shruthy Menon in the lead roles.

The upcoming week is all set to be an eventful one with a film of Mohanlal set to hit the theatres after a big break. The previous release of Mohanlal was Kanal, which released in October 2015.

Mohanlal's latest release is Vismayam, the Malayalam version of his Telugu debut film Manamantha, directed Chandrasekhar Yeleti.

Vismayam is all set to hit the theatres on August 5, 2016. Both the Telugu and Malayalam versions of the film would be released on the same date.
