Actress Mrudula Murali is a well-known face in Mollywood and she is best known for her roles in films like Ayaal Njanalla, Red Chillies etc.

According to the latest reports, the actress is all set to enter Bollywood with a big project in her kitty.

Reportedly, Mrudula Murali has been selected to do an important role in the renowned Hindi film-maker Tigmanshu Dhulia's upcoming venture Raagdesh, which would have Kunal Kapoor and Mohith Marwah in the lead roles.

The film which is being planned as a period drama would have Mrudula Murali doing the role based on a real-life character.

Well, this is a great achievement for the actress as not many Malayalam film celebrities have made it to Bollywood. The fact that the project is being made in a big canvas, makes her achievement further big.

Mrudula Murali made her debut in films with a role in Red Chillies. She has also featured in films like Elsamma Enna Aankutty, 10:30 AM Local Call etc. But, it was her role in Fahadh Faasil starrer Ayaal Njanalla, which made her a popular name. Mrudula was the leading lady in the film directed by Vineeth Kumar.

The actress was previously seen in the film Shikhamani, which had Chemban Vinod Jose in the lead role.
