Nivin Pauly Is Not Jacob In 'Jacobinte Swargarajyam'

Nivin Pauly was earlier rumoured to be playing the title role in Vineeth Sreenivasan's upcoming movie Jacobinte Swargarajyam. But recently, Vineeth revealed that Nivin is not playing Jacob.

It is the actor-writer-director Renji Panicker, who essays the titular character Jacob, in the movie. Jacobinte Swargarajyam revolves around Jacob, wife Sherly played by Lakshmi Ramakrishnan, and their children.

Jacob and Sherly are blessed with 4 kids, played by Nivin Pauly, Sreenath Bhasi, Ayna, and Master Stassen Varghese respectively. The movie is inspired by the real life story of a Malayali family.

Reba Monica John, the popular model who is familiar among the audiences through the Midukki reality show, essays the female lead opposite Nivin Pauly in the movie. It is the acting debut of Reba.

Aju Varghese, plays a significant character in the movie; also assisted director Vineeth Sreenivasan. Shaan Rahman, who has associated with Vineeth for all his films, composes the music.

Sai Kumar, TG Ravi and Dinesh Prabhakar play the other key roles. Jomon T John handles the cinematography. Jacobinte Swargarajyam will hit the theatres on March 18th, Friday.
