Guppy, which released in the month of July, this year, is by far, one of the best movies of 2016, so far. The film was able to make an impact and it did win the hearts of the audiences.
Johnpaul George, the man who crafted this beautiful movie, did win applauses for delivering a quality film. Now, the film-maker is gearing up for his next venture.
Reportedly, the director has roped in Nivin Pauly to do the lead role in his second directorial venture. Importantly, the film will be produced by Sameer Thahir and Johnpaul George himself.
According to a report by Manorama Online, Nivin Pauly has got a role with huge scope to perform and the director of the film has also stated that the Nivin Pauly's decision to take up this particular role is praiseworthy.
Reportedly, the film will have its script written by the director himself and the movie is expected to go on floors by mid 2017. Girish Gangadharan who had set some scintillating frames for Guppy, would handle the cinematography section of the upcoming film, as well.
Meanwhile, Nivin Pauly is gearing up for the release of his next two ventures. Njandukalude Naattil Oridavela is expected to hit theatres in February 2017 whereas Sakhavu would hit the theatres in March 2017.
