Sakhavu, the upcoming Nivin Pauly-Sidhartha Siva movie, is one of the most anticipated projects of Mollywood. In a recent interview, lead actor Nivin revealed some interesting details about the movie.
According to the actor, Sakhavu is an intense political drama, which will create a huge impact on the audiences. Nivin states that the viewers will leave the theatres with a heavy heart.
The actor also assured that Sakhavu is not an offbeat film. Initially, the actor thought that it is a parallel movie when Sidhartha approached him with the script. But, Nivin later realised that he was wrong.
Initially, Sakhavu was slated to hit the theatres as the Christmas release of Nivin. But the shoot was postponed multiple times due to technical problems and financial issues, caused by demonetization.
The shooting of the movie is currently progressing in Peerumedu. Reportedly, the team is planning to wrap in the shoot in a few days. If things fall in place, Sakhavu will be released in March 2017.
Tamil actress Aishwarya Rajesh essays the female lead in the movie, which will have former Miss Kerala Gayathri Suresh in a key role. Sakhavu is produced by B Rakesh for Universal Cinema.
