Nivin Pauly To Learn Kalaripayattu

Nivin Pauly, the charming actor has always been open to challenges. The actor has always tried to bring in some new elements to all his characters and wants to move out of his comfort zone.

Interestingly, Nivin is planning to learn Kalaripayattu, for the upcoming Roshan Andrews project based on Kayamkulam Kochunni. The actor decided to learn Kalari, as his character Kochunni is a martial arts expert.

The untitled project is based on the Kayamkulam Kochunni stories, mentioned in Kottarathil Shankunni's Aithihyamala. The story, screenplay, and dialogues of the movie are penned by the scriptwriter duo Bobby-Sanjay.

If the reports are to be true, Nivin Pauly will use the ancient Travancore slang in the film. A debutante will essay the female lead in the movie, which will have a star cast comprising of many new faces.

The project, which is produced by Gokulam Gopalan under the banner Sree Gokulam Movies, is made with a budget of 10-12 Crores. The movie will be widely shot at the various locations of Kayamkulam and Sri Lanka.

Kabali music director Santhosh Narayanan is expected to make his Malayalam movie debut, as the music composer of the project. Satheesh, the sound designer of Baahubali and Talaash, will handle the audio designing.
