Oppam 15 Days Kerala Box Office Collection Report

Oppam, the Mohanlal-Priyadarshan movie has already been declared as the biggest hit of 2016. The movie broke several pre-existing box office records of Mollywood, within the first 2 weeks of release.

As per the latest reports from the trade analysts, Oppam has made a total gross collection of Rs. 23.7 Crores, when it completed the first 15 days at the Kerala box office.

Reportedly, the movie has earned a total share of Rs. 10.80 Crores, within the first 15 days. Oppam, which was written and directed by Priyadarshan, was made with a budget of about 6.80 Crores.

Sources suggest that Oppam is collecting an average of 90 Lakhs on the weekdays and more than 1 Crore on the holidays. The number of shows has been increased in most of major Kerala cities, on the 3rd week.

Oppam broke two box office records of Nivin Pauly starrer Premam, within the first two weeks. The movie emerged as the fastest Malayalam movie to cross the 10-Crore and 20-Crore marks, in Mollywood.

The movie also broke the collection record of Jacobinte Swargarajyam, thus emerging as the biggest hit of 2016. Director Priyadarshan is planning to remake Oppam in Tamil and Bollywood, soon.
